The Chrysler Pacifica has earned over 130 accolades in the industry since it debuted. It received the title of Best New Minivan of 2019. As the only first and only minivan to offer a hybrid powertrain, it won the Best New Hybrid in 2018. The 2021 Pacifica has done it again, earning Good Housekeeping’s 2020 Best New Family Car award.
The Good Housekeeping Institute through a partnership with Car and Driver tested hundreds of vehicles to see which would earn a place as one of the 15 best-in-class vehicles. This is the third consecutive award the Pacifica has received from Good Housekeeping.
The new Pacifica introduces an AWD system that can take on a range of road conditions seamlessly without driver activation. The Pacifica has 97 standard safety systems with 14 new systems as standard including Pedestrian Automatic Emergency Braking.
One notable feature is the FamCAM™ interior camera. This camera lets front passengers keep tabs on what’s going on in the rear area. It has segment-exclusive attributes including the ability to see rear-facing child seats, split-screen capacity, and the “zoom-to-seat” feature. And the new Pacifica Pinnacle™ trim is the most luxurious minivan in the industry with rear captain’s seats, leather appointments, and upgraded central consoles.
